Birmingham Metro
Soccer Tournament |
|
The
Birmingham Metro Tournament has been played since 1985. For many
years it was the tournament was that which declared the unofficial
Soccer State Champions. It abides by the rules and regulations of
the Alabama High School Athletic Association. And still today is
one of the most prestigious tournaments in Alabama.
The Birmingham Metro League has been divided into two
divisions, A Division for the larger, more traditional soccer
schools and League B for the smaller or up-and-coming soccer
programs. Because of the large number of A division schools this
is league is divided into two separate groups.
