         In 5A Boys Homewood beat Cullman 2-0 in an extremely physical contest. In the first half Homewood's Brian Garcia flashed to the near post on a corner kick by Morgan Smith and stuck a header in for the only score of the first half.
        In the 70th minute Chris Glosecki scored on a beautiful direct free kick from about 25 yards out.
        Homewood's Brian Garcia was the 5A Boy's Most Valuable Player.
