2005 Boys Co-Players
of the Year
Ryan Strachan (Fairhope) and Hassan
Ibrahim (Davidson)
Fairhope and Davidson were the last two Mobile-Baldwin boys'
soccer teams standing during the 2005 season, as both fell one
win shy of advancing to the state tournament in Huntsville. In
recognition of their accomplishments, Strachan and Ibrahim are
honored here as the Mobile Register's 2005 co-players of the
year for high school boys' soccer.
2005 Girls Player of the Year
- Caroline Reehl Reehl's hard work
resulted in 32 goals and 30 assists during the 2005 season, as
she led Bayside Academy to a 17-9 record and a berth in the
second round of the state playoffs. In recognition of her
superlative season, she is honored here as the Mobile
Register's 2005 player of the year for high school girls'
soccer.
