bullet Encore Indoor Soccer Arena in Decatur
Darrell Harris (Hartselle AYSO Soccer) and Encore are putting together an indoor soccer league at the Encore Sports Facility on Central Parkway (near 14th Street) in Decatur. He’d like to know by Thursday if players are interested.
He expects that the cost will be about $175 per team for the season. U16 and U19 teams would play 5v5. U12 & U14 teams would play 6v6. U10 & U8 teams would play 7v7 and U6 would play 8v8. Darrell is suggesting that U16
and U19 teams have 6 or 7 on the roster.
Darrell expects to start league play on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving (if they can pull it together by then) and will play five (5) weekends. Teams will play two (2) games each Saturday and will be given one hour, two days a week to practice. They’ll have vests to put on teams that have similar jerseys. The AYSO teams that are playing will be wearing their jerseys from the Fall.
Darrell said that anyone can form their own team, but they will need a parent to be at each game - designated as their "coach". Also if they played for AYSA they might be covered with insurance if the state says it's ok to play in the league. We (AYSO) are approving play in the league so that our players and coaches can keep their insurance in force.
Please pass this along to anyone who might be interested. All of those that are interested should contact Darrell Harris at 773-0845 or 227-0260 or by e-mail at DHarris331@aol.com

The AYSO indoor recreational league in Madison which plays in the school gyms in Madison, Alabama will start their indoor winter league soon. Their website is at http://www.madisonrecreation.org/AYSO/
Indoor soccer is very different.  The play is fast-paced, the ball rarely goes out of play (it bounces off the wall), all teams have boys and girls, and they get substituted in and out while the game plays.
Indoor soccer does not require teams to practice. The indoor rules are simple, the game is easy to learn and is geared more towards having fun rather than competitiveness. GEt those kids out of the house this Winter and bring them here for a great workout. Hurry, registration is limited to 400 players due to limited indoor fields.

Just 4 Kicks - Soccer Facility at Huntsville, Alabama  2002 Winter Youth 5v5 Soccer League Information

Just 4 Kicks brings you the newest and most exciting soccer facility in North Alabama. Participants will play on state of the art synthetic turf in a fast and competitive atmosphere. Floodlights insure well-lit conditions for night play. Come join for a soccer experience you will never forget.

Just 4 Kicks - Indoor Facility at Brownsboro, Alabama (near Huntsville) - Just 4 Kicks Youth Winter League - Just 4 Kicks will conduct a 5v5 league throughout the winter for the youth teams in the area. This league is for the kids who would like to continue playing throughout the winter while no other soccer is available to them. In 2003 the first games were played November 15th for 5 consecutive weeks. Download the registration form here. The team does not necessarily need to have an official coach so long as somebody is there to organize the kids. Teams need as few as 8 players to participate and I know the kids enjoy the facility very much. It is difficult for me to contact each kid individually so I would really appreciate it if you could forward this info to them.  Thank You.
