The Fifth Annual HUNTSVILLE Summer Classic
Soccer Tournament
11-13 August 2006

Just in time for the new 2006 fall season, the City of Huntsville, the North Alabama Soccer League, and Huntsville Soccer Club extend this invitation for your team to participate in the fifth annual Huntsville Summer Classic Soccer Tournament. This year’s tournament will be held in Huntsville, Alabama on August 11-13, 2006. The Alabama Soccer Association (ASA), an affiliate of the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) sanctions the tournament. USYSA affiliated teams are invited to participate.
Beginning this summer, our tournament offers brackets for girls and boys teams, ages ranging from U9 to U18.  Where possible, we will have divisions within each age group based on the competitive level of the participants.  The tournament will accept Division I (Premier), Division II (Classic), and Division III (Rec-plus) teams. Each team is guaranteed three matches.  Awards will be given to first and second place teams in each division. What a great way to start off the new season by playing against teams from all over the Southeast and beyond!
Again, this year's Summer Classic is held in conjunction with the Alabama
Shootout Women’s Soccer Showcase. Six Division I Women’s College Teams will play this fourth annual soccer exhibition on August 19 and 20 at John Hunt Soccer Complex in Huntsville, AL. You will be able to find details on our website in the weeks to come at: www.huntsvillesoccerclub.org/tournament2/
This event is being held to provide continued support and growth of North Alabama soccer programs. Youth teams entering the Summer Classic can purchase tickets to the college matches for $25 per team with their team entry application, or at an individual, pre-order discounted rate through our website.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call me at 256-232-4106 or send an e-mail message to HSCSambaDad@msn.com. Please visit our tournament web page at www.huntsvillesoccerclub.org for complete tournament information—including tournament rules, on-line or printable entry form, and a copy of the ASA approved application to host a tournament.
Don’t hesitate to get signed up now, and I look forward to hearing from you.

 Sincerely,

 Andy J. Dye, II
Tournament Director

Bob Jones
"Great Patriot Shoot-Out"

Indoor Soccer Tournament
January 2006 - Madison, Alabama

Great Patriot Shoot Out 2006

The annual Great Patriot Shootout sponsored by the Bob Jones High School Soccer Boosters will be held January 2006 at Bob Jones High School in Madison, Alabama. The tournament is open to Youth Soccer Teams ages U8 through U14.

The tournament format will be 6v6. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches.  We play on a gymnasium floor (size of a basketball court) with an indoor ball.  Roster size is limited to 10 players and must be the same for the entire weekend.  Many teams who played this past fall split their rosters and enter two teams.  Teams may form specifically for this event. To participate we require that your players each provide a parent-signed release form (attached) and proof of age.  First and second place awards will be given in each age group.  We use AHSAA rated officials for all matches.

We try to start and complete each age bracket within a single day. This allows for out of town teams to avoid hotel costs. We in the Bob Jones Soccer Booster Club do our best to make this a fun and exciting event for everyone. So come on out and spend the day with us.  If you have questions about the tournament please feel free to contact me at (256) 325-2310 or email me at baileycm@knology.netFor more information, please go to our web site at http://www.nasl.com/bjshootout/index.htm . There you will find all of the forms needed to enter your team. Thank You.
